Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Avighna Tech Private Limited handles information when businesses and their authorized users use the TailorG web and Android applications.

Plain-language summary: TailorG uses business information to provide tailoring management functions. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. The Android app requests internet access only and uses encrypted local storage for device and session information.

1. Scope and responsible company

This Privacy Policy applies to the TailorG tailoring business management platform, including the TailorG Android application, related web application and supporting APIs. TailorG is developed and operated by Avighna Tech Private Limited (“Avighna Tech”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

Businesses using TailorG determine the customer, worker, vendor and transaction information they enter. Authorized users should only add information that their business is entitled to process.

2. Information we collect and process

Account and business informationUser ID, name, mobile number, business name, address, logo, business settings, roles and permissions.
Authentication and device informationDevice UUID, device name, registration status, business ID, encrypted session tokens, MPIN verification hash, login time, IP address and security events.
Customer and worker recordsNames, mobile numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, dates of birth, photographs, measurements, height, weight, joining details and work information.
Business transactionsSales, quotations, purchases, jobs, deliveries, payments, expenses, outstanding balances, inventory, commissions and related reports.
Files and imagesCustomer or product images selected by an authorized user and documents such as invoices, receipts and reports.
Technical informationAPI request details, timestamps, error information and activity records required for operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention and security.

Information entered during registration

During initial Android device registration, the app sends the entered username and password securely to verify an existing business account. We do not store the plain-text password in the Android app. The chosen MPIN is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on the server as a one-way verification hash.

Android permissions and local storage

The Android app declares the internet permission. It uses Android's document picker when an authorized user selects an image, without requesting broad storage access. Device registration values and session tokens are stored locally using Android EncryptedSharedPreferences. Temporary PDF files may be held in the app's private cache for printing or sharing.

3. How we use information

  • Register approved Android devices and authenticate users with an MPIN.
  • Provide customer, measurement, billing, quotation, purchase, job, delivery, payment, inventory, expense and reporting functions.
  • Generate, print and share business documents requested by users.
  • Apply business-specific user permissions and device access controls.
  • Maintain service reliability, troubleshoot errors and protect accounts against unauthorized use.
  • Provide customer support, onboarding and service communications.
  • Meet applicable accounting, security and legal obligations.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information and do not use TailorG business data for third-party advertising.

Information may be disclosed only when needed:

  • To the business account and its authorized users according to configured permissions.
  • To infrastructure, hosting or technical service providers acting on our instructions and subject to appropriate safeguards.
  • When a user intentionally prints, downloads or shares a document or opens a third-party communication application.
  • To comply with applicable law, a lawful request, or to protect users, the service and our legal rights.
  • As part of a corporate transaction, subject to applicable notice and legal requirements.

5. Storage and security

TailorG uses HTTPS for Android communications and blocks clear-text network traffic. Passwords and MPINs are stored as verification hashes on the server, and Android session information is stored using encrypted preferences backed by the Android Keystore. We also use access controls, business-level data separation, token expiration and revocation, activity logging and restricted device controls.

No security measure can guarantee absolute protection. Businesses should protect login credentials, use strong MPINs, grant only necessary permissions and promptly block lost or unauthorized devices.

6. Data retention

We retain business records while the applicable TailorG business account remains active and as needed to provide the service. Some invoices, payment records, audit logs, backups and related information may be retained longer where necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, backup integrity or legal compliance.

When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized in accordance with operational and legal requirements. Data in backups may remain until the relevant backup cycle expires.

7. Access, correction and user choices

Authorized users can review and update many business records within TailorG. Requests to access, correct or delete personal information may be submitted through the business account owner or directly to Avighna Tech using the contact details below. We may need to verify the requester and their authority before acting.

Users can stop app access by signing out or uninstalling the Android app. A business owner can block a registered device from the TailorG web portal, which revokes its active session.

8. Account and data deletion requests

To request deletion of a TailorG account or associated data, contact Avighna Tech Customer Support. Include the business name, registered user ID or mobile number, and the scope of data to be deleted. Do not send passwords or MPINs.

We will verify that the requester is the business owner, an authorized representative, or the person to whom the data relates. After verification, we will process eligible deletion requests within a reasonable period. Information required for legal compliance, accounting, security, fraud prevention or dispute resolution may be retained for the applicable period, and we will explain this where relevant.

9. Children's privacy

TailorG is a business application intended for business owners and authorized staff. It is not directed to children and should not be used by anyone below the age permitted to enter a binding agreement in their location. If we learn that information was submitted by a child without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and remove it where required.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when TailorG features, data practices or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new effective or updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the application or business contact channels.
